I just got an email from Allison Randal, Technical Architect of Ubuntu. They're looking for people to build automated tests for Ubuntu:

At Canonical, we're ramping up a team for automated testing across the entire OS. I'm wondering if you have contacts in Portland or elsewhere who might have recommendations, or be able to point a few qualified people our way?

Allison went on to say that they're specifically looking for people who can write automated tests, not just manual testing skills.
