Scrum

A friend asked me about Scrum. I replied:

The theory with Scrum is that having timeboxed iterations, strong commitment to delivery, and close collaboration will cause the team to self-organize and seek out ways to improve its technical practices. The strength of this approach is that it makes Scrum easier to adopt and the weakness is that there's no guidance on technical practices.
