“Best Software Writing” Nominations
April 9, 2006
Whaddayaknow. It really is an honor just to be nominated.
Two of my articles have been nominated for inclusion in Joel Spolksy's "Best Software Writing II" collection. I'm thrilled. Check out the articles, then go add your two cents on Joel's forum.
- Quality With a Name. My recent article on design quality. It's been getting a lot of attention. (Endorse it here.)
- Fail Fast. My not-so-recent article on using assertions to make software fail fast. People have a love-it-or-hate-it reaction to this article. (Endorse it here.)
If you'd like to nominate another of my articles to be included in the book, I wouldn't be offended. (Okay, okay, I'm being greedy. But why not?) Be sure to read Joel's instructions, particularly the part where he says, "All nominations must include the nominator's full name and correct email address or they will not be considered."
