Bay Area Presentations This Tuesday and Wednesday
December 9, 2007
I'm going to be in the bay area Tuesday and Wednesday this week (December 11th and 12th) giving two presentations about agile planning. They're quite different, so you can come to both without fearing repetition. I hope to see you there!
Agile Planning in Action (Tuesday evening, downtown San Francisco)
This interactive session is two tutorials in one: a session on agile planning and a second, bonus tutorial on whatever (agile) topic you're most passionate about. You'll use agile planning, complete with user stories, estimates, and stakeholders, to create the tutorial. At the end of the evening, participants will choose the best tutorial and I'll deliver it.
December 11th, 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Agile Release Planning for Maximum Value (Wednesday evening, Googleplex)
This is a traditional lecture. I'll be talking about agile release planning and ways to improve your bottom line. In contrast to "Agile Planning in Action", which looks at the tactics of agile planning, this lecture looks at overall strategies. How do you plan over the course of an entire product's lifecycle?
December 12th, 6:30pm - 9:00pm
